I have only a few bags of wastes to dispose at the landfill, what will my charges be?
In order to discourage illegal dumping of small amounts of wastes in Montrose
County, a new minimum charge will be implemented beginning June 18, 2007. This
minimum charge will be $4.84 for four 30-gallon bags or less.
2.
What will Out-of-County wastes be charged for disposal?
A 15% surcharge will be assessed on Out-of –County wastes. Part of this revenue
will go to fund a new landfill.
