The Montrose Board of County Commissioners proclaimed October as Bullying Prevention Awareness Month in Montrose County. We were honored to have Joey Boese of PEER Kindness, Inc.  read the Proclamation at yesterday's Board of County Commissioner meeting. The Proclamation recognizes bullying as a national and statewide problem, and also bullying prevention as a national and statewide responsibility. Thousands of Colorado children and adolescents are affected by bullying annually, with as many as 1 in 5 students reporting being bullied. 

We can all work together to create a kinder and more inclusive community.
