Region 10 League for Economic Assistance and Planning serves as the economic, community and senior programs leader for six, western Colorado counties, including Delta, Gunnison, Hinsdale, Montrose, Ouray, and San Miguel. The largest communities in the Region are the city of Montrose, the City of Delta, and the City of Gunnison.

The purposes and duties of the Region 10 League for Economic Assistance and Planning, Inc. shall be carried out in general by the Board of Directors, and more specifically, by its Executive Committee. The purpose of the Region 10 League for Economic Assistance and Planning, Inc. shall be construed as to having the purpose(s) as set forth in the following State and Federal Statutes and program guidelines as amended from time to time: Intergovernmental Relationships, Planning, an Economic Development District, and Transportation.

The criteria for being a member of the Board of Directors is as follows: Chamber of Commerce Director, Post Secondary Education, Workforce Development Groups, and/or Labor Groups. Board of Directors serve two (2) year terms.

Meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of February, May, August, and the third Thursday of November at 12:00 noon at 145 South Cascade Avenue.

REGION 10 L.E.A.P. Business Loan Fund (RLF) Committee

The Business Loan Fund Committee consists of two members from each county of the Region. The Board of County Commissioners of each county shall appoint such Members. Members of the Loan Committee will serve a two (2) year term with no limitation for succession.

The Business Loan Fund Committee shall have the responsibility to qualify, approve or deny loans in compliance with the applicable Federal and State statutes and approved policy guidelines. The Committee shall not have the authority to borrow funds.

Meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of February, May, August, and the third Thursday of November at 10:00 a.m. at 145 South Cascade Avenue.
