Procurement & Contracts

As agents of Montrose County, employees purchase items in an open, fair and ethical manner, in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies, always mindful of the need to use taxpayer funds wisely. The Procurement and Contracts Department assists employees to procure items at the quality and delivery required, and at the lowest possible cost, by providing advice, research, and contractual expertise.

E-Bidding

The County is transitioning to electronic, or “e-bidding” for formal solicitations.
E-bidding allows vendors to search opportunities and download bid files electronically from the website. Sealed responses are still required and must be received by the stated deadline.

Register for e-bidding and receive automatic notification of new bids and automatic notification of addenda. (Remember, though, that bidders are ultimately responsible for downloading all addenda, so it's a good idea to check the solicitation periodically.) Registration website
